How to Complain to the Organisation

The response states how the person can complain to the organisation about it.

Section 164A of the Data Protection Act 2018

Intent

A person can complain to the organisation itself, which is the quicker route. The response is where they would learn that.

How to test it

An assessor scores the criterion against a single response:

Score 2
The response gives the person a route for complaining to the organisation, and says how to use it.
Score 1
The response says the person can complain without saying how, or gives only a general enquiries address.
Score 0
The response says nothing about complaining to the organisation.

The law it reflects

This criterion reflects Section 164A of the Data Protection Act 2018 of the UK GDPR. That mapping is a guide, not a legal test: conformance is judged against the criterion, not the article.
