The response meets recognised accessibility standards, so a person using assistive technology can read it without having to ask for an alternative.
Intent
Asking for an accessible version means finding out the response is unreadable, then waiting again. A response that meets accessibility standards saves that wait.
How to test it
An assessor scores the criterion against a single response:
- Score 2
- The response meets recognised accessibility standards, so a person using assistive technology can read it as delivered.
- Score 1
- Part of the response is accessible and part of it is not.
- Score 0
- A person using assistive technology cannot read the response without asking for an alternative.
