The response is organised so the person can find their way through it, rather than presented as an undifferentiated bundle.

Intent

One long undifferentiated file leaves the person to do the organising themselves. A response they can navigate saves them that work.

How to test it

An assessor scores the criterion against a single response:

Score 2
The copy is divided into named parts, in an order the person can follow, so they can find a particular kind of data.
Score 1
The copy is divided into parts, but the parts are unnamed or in no discernible order.
Score 0
The copy is one undifferentiated bundle with no structure the person can use.

The law it reflects

This criterion reflects Article 12(1) of the UK GDPR. That mapping is a guide, not a legal test: conformance is judged against the criterion, not the article.

See F3 in context in the full standard.
